Son of Spanish immigrants, he was born in 1958 in the city of São Paulo.

As a child, he made kites that he sold at the fair, and right there he bought comic books for his collection.

​

Great comic artists were a reference for his first drawings, and collecting followed, now focused on art books.

​

From 1974, in the course of IADÊ, he learned new techniques and materials, producing award-winning works in salons (CCBEU-1976) and prominent participations (National Biennial -1977), (MAM Panorama da Arte Atual Brasileira - 1977).

Despite a promising start and critical acclaim, he interrupted his artistic career to pursue the family business.

​

In 1993, he studied metal engraving at MUBE, but the resumption of artistic activity came only in 2016, stimulated by the AP course at EPA.

​

During this long period, he produced caricatures and devoted himself to the subject in a fascinating library.

​

In 2019, he organized his first solo show “Todos os Tempos”, at ArtLab in São Paulo.

​

In the last two years, isolation has intensified his production of drawings and paintings.
